Top Leadership at Dreher
Lawrence "Joe" Ebelin comes to us from Dutch Fork High School where he was Assistant Principal for Instruction. Prior to that, he was the Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction at Westwood High School.
Dr. Eberlin's previous experience includes serving as Assistant Principal at Longleaf Middle School, Magnet Director at Richland Northeast High School, English teacher at both Richland Northeast and Ridge View High Schools, and teacher of Language Arts at Blythewood Middle School. Dr. Eberlin's talents extend to the pitch where he has been a high school and club soccer coach.
Dr. Eberlin earned a Bachelor of Arts in English ('96) from the University of South Carolina. Proud Gamecock that he is, he returned to complete two Masters of Education - in English Education ('01) and Educational Administration ('10). In December 2023 he was awarded his doctorate by Arkansas State University.
