Clubs at Dreher

Taylor Knoke, science teacher and sponsor of the Botany Club, writes:

"Botany Club members collaborated with Rosewood Elementary students in the Sims Park afterschool program to plant a cool weather garden. Everyone had so much fun, and it was neat seeing our kids interacting with the young ones."

Pictured here with Mayor Daniel Rickenmann is Dreher's Botany Club under the supervision of science teacher Taylor Knoke. They were awarded a grant of $4320 from the City of Columbia to grow a biodiverse garden at Dreher and to provide community outreach/education.
